This notice explains how JIN Talent collects and uses personal information when you visit this website, apply for a role, engage us as a client or contact us. It applies to jintalent.com and jintalentglobal.com.

Who we are
JIN Talent is operated by 上海望云逐月科技有限公司 and 重庆望云逐月人力资源服务有限公司. The Chongqing entity holds a Human Resources Service Licence issued in the People's Republic of China. For anything in this notice, write to privacy@jintalent.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us: your name, contact details, CV, employment and education history, references, salary expectations and any notes you send. We record which roles you have been considered for. When you visit the website, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
Why we use it
To assess your suitability for roles, to present your details to a client for a specific role after telling you which client it is, to contact you about opportunities, to arrange interviews and offers, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
How we share it
A candidate's details are shared with a client only when that candidate is being considered for a specific role, and the candidate is told which client it is. We use service providers for hosting, email and recruitment research tools, who may process data on our behalf under contract. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers
We are based in China and many of the roles we handle are outside China. Personal information may therefore be transferred to and processed in China and in the country where the role is based. We take reasonable steps to protect information wherever it is processed.
How long we keep it
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide recruitment services, maintain our talent pool with your consent, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the purpose, type of information, progress of the service and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You may contact privacy@jintalent.com to request an update or deletion, or to withdraw consent, subject to any legal retention requirements. Client, contractual and financial records are retained as required by applicable law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, ask us to stop contacting you, or withdraw your consent to being put forward for a role. Write to privacy@jintalent.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
You can switch languages using the language selector. Your choice is reflected in the page URL. We do not use cookies to remember your language preference. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice; the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the website or our services after an update means you accept the revised notice.
